Lot # 20 (Picture 1).jpg
The first is the Marine Model Co.'s whaler Charles W. Morgan, at the odd scale of 5/32" = 1', which creates a model 26" long by 24" high. I think this was one of their premier kits, with supposedly over 860 metal and wood parts. In an old Bliss Marine catalog it cost more than their Sea Witch or Constitution.

Lot # 21 (Picture 1)
Sterling's Flying Cloud, at 3/32" = 1'. It would create a model about 27" long. Don't know as much about this company, but this one doesn't look too bad. The fittings are pretty good, except for the rigging blocks, which are plastic, but can be easily replaced.
